Which websites can I import from?
Any page that uses standard recipe structured data (JSON-LD) imports cleanly — that covers most major cooking sites. For pages without it, an AI model reads the page and extracts what it can. If a page is entirely paywalled or login-gated, the import may not work.
What happens when a site doesn't have structured data?
JustWhisk sends the page text to an AI model, which extracts the title, ingredients, and method as best it can. You can edit the result before saving.
Who can see my recipes?
Only members of your family group. Recipes are private. You control who is in your family, and you can remove members at any time.
Can I add a recipe by hand, without a URL?
Yes. The manual entry form lets you type in a title, ingredients, and method directly — no URL needed.
What happens to my recipes if a website disappears?
Your recipes are stored in JustWhisk, not linked to the original page. Once a recipe is imported, it lives in your collection regardless of what happens to the source.
Is it free?
Yes, while the app is being built. There is no payment, no trial expiry, and no card required to sign up.
